NAME OF SHOW: Virginia Express youth baseball team 1st annual car show
DETAILS: Come One Come All The Virginia Express Baseball team host their first Car Show.Show will be at Bethel High School show time is 10:00 a.m.-3:00p.m. registration starts 8:30. Cars, trucks and motorcycles or anything else interesting. The show will have lots of door prizes DJ playing a lot of our favorites,food and drinks will be on sale during the event there will also be a silent auction for some really cool things. All Awards will be based on participants votes eccept any special awards.This will be a fun filled event for all to enjoy young and old. NAME OF EVENT: Colonial Downs Horse Racing
DETAILS: Let's go to the horse races!! Colonial Downs is offering a special for $4 per person; includes admission, program, tip sheet, hot dog, soft drink and a souvenir gift. Meet at Newport News Park at the Ranger Station at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, June 13th. If the weather is nice we will cruise up in the Stangs. That day will be Thoroughbred Racing. This event is open to PME paid Members and their families. I'm planning to get rich that day....see if you can beat me!!

DETAILS: This is the 2nd annual car show to benefit the college’s automotive program and the premier car event for the peninsula in July. If you can only attend a few shows this year, don’t miss the one everyone’s been talking about. There will be 30+ categories, the college president’s and sponsors awards, food vendors and music on site. The show is on the Hampton college campus, visible from interstate 64, at 99 Thomas Nelson Drive. More information will be available from the college’s web page. DETAILS: The 4th Annual Back to School Bash is scheduled for Sat. Aug. 7th (rain date Sun. Aug. 8th), at the Quaker Steak & Lube, 12832 Jefferson Ave, Newport News. The show is an official benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Open to all makes, models, and years of vehicles. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m., and will be $10 for all vehicles. Awards will be given at 3:00p.m. There will be “goody bags” and dash plaques for the first 50 registered participants, food, music, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and vehicle displays. DETAILS: Southeastern Virginia Mustang Club host a Mustang Club of America National show at Pembroke Mall, 4554 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. 350 Mustangs from across the country are expected to participate. $10 registration discount if received before July 13, 2010. Registration and classification on site 8am-5pm on August 13 and 14. Judging noon-5pm on August 14, 2010. Show hours 8am-4pm on August 15, 2010. Awards 2pm-4pm on August 15. Children's Miracle Network, Stand Up For Kids and Virginia Beach Police Foundation are the selected charities for the event. Meet and Greet at Gordon Biersch 7pm on August 12. Banquet at host hotel Westin Virginia Beach on August 13. Cruise Virginia Beach 7pm on August 14. See you in August!
